Naming Rights – Market Activity in Pennsylvania
Activity in the state of Pennsylvania featured this group of 25 Major Gifts.
Not surprising the Children’s Hospital and University of Pennsylvania received the two largest, both above the $100 million mark.
U of P also received five others.
Looking thru a different lens the success at U of P as compared to all others in the state, including non-recipients, is likely related to the inventory of Naming Opportunities made available to prospective donors and the Ask Strategies in place.
The most significant trend is the expanding batch of Naming Rights Bestowed; not limited to larger institutions, this trend appears to be widespread and growing in frequency.
